Parallax ("we", "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use watchparallax.com and any connected integrations.

2. Information We Collect

The Parallax website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts. We do not collect personal information from visitors to the website.

When you authorize Parallax to connect to a third-party platform account (such as TikTok), we receive:

An OAuth access token and refresh token for publishing content
A platform-specific user identifier (such as an open ID)

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, followers, watch history, or any other personal data from third-party platforms.

3. How We Use Information

OAuth tokens are used exclusively to publish AI-generated video content to your authorized account. Tokens are:

Stored locally on the machine running the Parallax pipeline
Never shared with third parties
Never stored in any cloud database or analytics platform
Used only for the purpose you authorized (content publishing)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your information with any third party. The only data transmission is between the Parallax pipeline and the third-party platform API you authorized (e.g., TikTok's Content Posting API) for the purpose of publishing content.

5. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained only as long as the integration is active. You may revoke access at any time through the respective platform's account settings (e.g., TikTok Settings → Security → Manage app permissions). Revoking access invalidates all stored tokens.

6. Data Security

Tokens are stored in a local environment file with restricted file system permissions. We take reasonable measures to protect stored credentials, but no method of storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Parallax publishes content to third-party platforms including TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Your interaction with content on those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies:

Revoke Parallax's access to your third-party accounts at any time
Request information about what data we hold related to your account
Request deletion of any stored tokens or identifiers
